My mom and I recently dined at Big Catch Seafood House in Alhambra, which is actually part of the EMC Seafood Group. The restaurant features a very extensive menu focusing on all things seafood, but I feel they are most popular for their happy hour where they offer $1.50 oysters from 4-6pm every day. We were there for lunch and ordered off of their lunch menu, which is basically a more simplified version of their dinner menu at a slightly lower price point. We opted to try their cooked items, and to me it was just okay – a bit bland and lacking flavor. It wasn’t bad, but I definitely wouldn’t say it’s my go-to spot for good seafood. Maybe I’ll try items from their raw bar next time and see if I have a change of heart.
